May 7: Oneida Lake Pike Season Opens!
The 2011 - 2012 Walleye Pike Season opens on Oneida Lake and its tributaries. Bring the family and your poles and spend the day relaxing and fishing in one of the best walleye pike fishing areas in New York State. More information about licenses and regulations can be found at New York State Fishing Regulations.

Sales on every street from dawn to dusk.

May 17, 24 & 31st: WOUR Bikes At The Beach
Every Tuesday along Main St. starting at 5 PM. DJ and vendors and Charity Raffles. Free parking for motorcycles along Main Street. Sponsored by WOUR-FM.

May 26: WXUR Thursday Night Classic Car Cruise at Sylvan Beach
Featuring the best classic cars in central New York. Join radio personality Bruce Melnick as he spins your favorite oldies. Located at the village lakefront parking area. Starts at 6pm

May 28-31: Memorial Day Weekend.
Plan to spend all or part of this traditional “Kick Off  To Summer” weekend with us on the East Shore of Oneida Lake. Memorial Day Services in the Village Park, May 28, 11am

June 6, 13, 20, 27: Sunset Celebration.
Artists, Vendors and Entertainers are welcome to set up on the beachfront grassy area. There will also be a  "Boot Fair"  in the south end of the parking lot with people being able to sell garage sale type items out of the trunks of their cars. Sellers can set up one table behind their car. Showcase your talent, sell your goods, browse or simply enjoy our famed Sunset. A new Sylvan Beach tradition! Free parking after 5PM. June 7, 14, 21, 28: WOUR Bikes At The Beach

All day competition on the Beach Front.

June 5: Tour De Cure.

June 25, 26: Free Fishing Weekend!

July 4: Colossal Fireworks!
On the Lakefront after dark. It's a nighttime aerial extravaganza. Our FAMOUS style fireworks over beautiful Oneida Lake. It's a spectacular finale to the 4th of July Weekend. Come early and enjoy the whole day.

July 31: Annual Vettes at the Beach. Corvette Show.
The largest single day show in the northeast with past shows attracting over 470 Corvettes. There will be dash plaques, goodie bags, awards, t-shirts, door prizes and your favorite oldies playing all day long. Author of the newly released book “From the Beach to Brewerton” will present his talk and slide show on “The Coney Island of Central NY”. His other books include “Sylvan Beach -A History”, “Oneida Lake-Place Names and History” and “Tales of Oneida Lake". Admission is free. A book sale and signing to follow.

Open Show with cars from the early 20th century. Cars 20 years old or older are welcome. FREE ENTRY - FREE ADMISSION. Co-sponsored by the Mohican Model A Car Club. Free dash plaques to the first 100 cars. Entertainment in the Village Bandstand.
