May 2: Amusement Park Opens!
Visit Sylvan Beach's Historic Park featuring Rides, Games and Refreshments.

May 2: Oneida Lake Pike Season Opens!
Fish in some of the country’s best walleye pike waters. Fish from shore, the fishing pier, or a boat, and enjoy great sport fishing. Bring the whole family. All restaurants and attractions open.

May 12th, 19th & 26th: Bikes At The Beach
Every Tuesday starting at 5 pm. DJ sounds in the bandstand by Chazman, Vendors, Poker Crawl & Charity Raffles. Free Parking for Motorcycles along Main St.

May 21, 28: Thursday Night Classic Car Cruise at Sylvan Beach
See the best of Central New York's classic show cars every Thursday as they cruise to Sylvan Beach. Join our host radio personality Bruce Melnick as he spins your favorite oldies. 6pm, Village Lakefront Parking area.

May 22-25: Memorial Day Weekend.
Plan to spend all or part of this traditional “Kick-Off To Summer” weekend with us on the East Shore of Oneida Lake. Memorial Day Services in the Village Park, May 25, 11 am.

Artists, Vendors & Entertainers are welcome to set up on grassy area on the lakefront. Trunk Sales allowed. Showcase your talent, browse or simply celebrate our famed sunsets. A new Sylvan Beach tradition! Free Parking after 5 pm in Lakefront. Parking Lot. Info: 271-9223.

Sales on every street from dawn to dusk.

June 27, 28: Free Fishing Weekend!
During this last weekend in June, anyone can fish New York State waters; no license is required! It’s the perfect time to take a friend or relative fishing! New York has something to offer all anglers, from beginners to experts.

July 11: Chalk the Walk
Participants and observers alike are sure to have fun at this year's second annual "CHALK THE WALK" event July 11 /rain date July 12. from 12 noon until 4:00pm. Sponsored by the Sylvan-Verona Beach Resort Association & coinciding with the ANTIQUE COLLECTIBLE SHOW, amateurs, professionals, youngster & adults are invited to register, at no cost & participate in our local version of an Italian street painting festival. Local Resort Association Businesses sponsor blocks of the village sidewalks to serve as canvases for the artists. Prizes are awarded to the top entries. Proceeds from the event are donated to a local organization.

In the Village Park, 9am to 4pm. Largest single day show in the Northeast with past shows attracting over 470 Corvettes. There will be dash plaques, goodie bags, awards, t-shirts, door prizes, and your favorite oldies playing all day long. August 2: Jack Henke on Sylvan Beach History.
Author of the recently released book “From the Beach to Brewerton” will present his talk and slide show on “The Coney Island of Central NY”. His other books include “Sylvan Beach – A History”,“Oneida Lake-Place Names and History” and “Tales of Oneida Lake” Sylvan Beach Union Chapel on the Lake Front, 7pm with book sale and signing to follow.
